The Jubilee of Choirs is a time to recognise choir members as a gift of God’s grace in our churches and cathedrals. Choirs, be they large or small, give praise to God in song and lead others to do the same.
“[Choirs] are able to enrich the celebration by adding musical elements beyond the capabilities of the congregation alone,” (Sing to the Lord: Music in Divine Worship, USCCB, 2007, #28).

Opportunity for a Jubilee Pilgrimage to Camberwell. 1st Nov 2025

FOCUS on YEAR OF JUBILEE    In celebration of the Jubilee Year, Our Lady of Pentecost Parish will host a series of monthly pilgrimages at Our Lady of Victories Basilica in Camberwell. These pilgrimages will be held on the first Saturday of each Month until November. On Saturday 1^st November, Prof. Margaret O’Connor AM will present on care at the end of life.

The structure of each pilgrimage :

• 9.00 am to 9.30 am – Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament (Individual Confessions in confessional)
• 9.30 am to 10.00 am – Celebration of Eucharist
• 10.00 am to 11.00 am – Pilgrimage presentation
• 11.00 am to 12 noon – Light refreshments – tea/coffee provided
